List all the good things that the R-controlled Congresses did from 1995-2006
1. The "Do Not Call" list?

That's all I can come up with.

3. Got Itself Booted Out In 2006 - That's SOMETHING
Seriously, from the time Newt Gingrich rode into town with his "Contract On America" I don't think a single budget or spending bill was presented within the legally mandated time period - they were always off trying to "save" Terri Schiavo or some other irrelevancy instead of doing their work.

to list the things they've ruined....the military, the VA, medicare, pell grants....do I have any more bidders?
I just came back from the most exciting evening. We made 50,000 on our auction for our veterans homeless shelter. I am ecstatic. Too wound up to go to bed. WOO HOOO

9. Two words that say a lot about this country: "homeless veterans"
Props to you for raising all that money for the shelter. :patriot:

8. Every horrible, negative, racist, sexist, bigoted policy

they've introduced.

I know that sounds odd, but there's a substantial segment of the population that are just sick of it all--all their negativity, greed, lies, corruption, etc. So in a weird way, it's good they've been hideous, fascist bastards. Maybe it had to get this bad before things could get better.

10. I'm at a loss.
I can only think of the many outrages: the Patriot Act, "signing statements", etc.

The probably did do something right over the past twelve years. We're just so involved in the things they did wrong (and there are many things) that we can't think of any.

11. How about eventually showing the American people why they
cannot ever be trusted and I bet will no longer exist in 10 - 15 years.

17. Are you in Rio Rancho?
Gotta be RR - damn.... the Alb Metro area has grown soooo much! When I was in HS Tramway was still mostly a dirt road, and Rio Rancho was tiny w/ houses 'floating' because they hadn't figured out how to build the foundations correctly (big developers).

12. Well to be honest
One can't say Clinton was a great President if they don't recognize Republicans had the House and Senate at the same time. Alot did get done, SCHIP, COPS, low income housing reform, FEMA reform, minimum wage, lots of things. It wasn't until Bush got into office that progress stopped and they got busy undoing all the progress of the Clinton years.
