Out of a job, Republican staffer? Why not join the Marines?
Republican staffers, a new career awaits

Dear Republican staffer,

As you know, the last election cycle has left many of you looking for employment.

We are hiring.

We know many of you are patriotic Americans who long to serve their country, and take great pride in the country and it's ideals.

I'll be honest, we need more Marines. We need the kind of men and women who want to serve this country, and often face danger.

Having served the Congress, you know the peril we face. Without your help, all of our work and effort in the war on terror may come to naught.

We need you to join the fight. Anyone between 17-35 can enlist in the Marines, although we prefer enlistees by 27 or 28. We will consider older candidates.

Those interested can get more information at www.marines.com

We have information on becoming a commissioned officer for college graduates. The Marines need new, dedicated officers like you.

We hope you consider joining the Marine Corps as your next career option.

Semper Fi,

Col. D. Michael Clayburn
Recruiting, USMC

3. Yeah, the Army will take you up to 42 years old now !!
www.goarmy.com

Any able-bodied republican who thinks it's a "fight for civilization" needs to join up now!!

SERIOUS PERSONNEL SHORTAGES EXIST IN THE MILITARY, ESPECIALLY THE COMBAT ARMS FIELDS LIKE INFANTRY !

John Kerry volunteered for combat - Where are the freepers?

2. I think the Marines have standards
as do the rest of the forces...

I suspect that there are plenty of openings at KBR and Halliburton though

6. I've read those standards are dropping pretty rapidly
As they need bodies for Shrubler's wars, they're allowing gang members and neo-nazis.

4. Great idea!
The perfect opportunity for them to continue their dedication and service to country. I'll bet most of them are gun owners so they have a head start already! Join the fight, pugnuts!

7. Wow. The Marines have upped their enlistment age to 35?
The previous age limit I think was 27.

10. Yes, by all means it's their turn to get stuck in Iraq
They never studied hard and never got smart in college, so the best they could ever hope to accomplish in life was being Republican Hill Gophers. The "mission" demands that they train up and deploy to Iraq immediately, as does their newfound unemployed status.

12. that's the ticket!
AND FROM what i hear it's getting so hard to get enlistees pretty soon old rumsfeld will be young enough to sign on. he's already sick enough to embrace the program. locking up and torturing people...inflicting collateral damage, friendly fire fatalities, being proxy for a band of bushies, murderous greedy power and warmongers all.
