Newtie got? Will the press holder her feet to the fire the way they did the Republicans?
Howie's been smoking rope. When did the press ever hold *'s feet to the fire? Really, come one, now.

2. He said that with a straight face?! |

The only charitable response to that is, "Howard, do you take your viewers, readers, and listeners for a bunch of fools?"
The uncharitable response I'll leave to your imagination.
But honestly speaking, anyone who hasn't figured out how quickly, efficiently, and easily the GOP demonizes Democrats, particularly Democratic women and liberals in general, and with the servile assistance of the media, has no business commenting on the news.

Speaker Pelosi and the Congressional Democrats will fucking bore the MSM to death.
No scandals.
You'll have to sniff out the scandals residing in the white house.
Go back to delivering papers on a paper route Howie. Worthless media pos.

I expect a certain degree of disingenuousness from Howard Kurtz, given where he's employed. But the last straw was finding that even National Public Radio had bought into the Republican talking points when that GOP-manufactured brouhaha erupted over Kerry's joke during the speech to college students. Suddenly Daniel Schorr, whom I'd ordinarily credit with savvy, was expressing confusion about what Kerry had meant and opining that it was a very vicious joke at Bush's expense. Huh? Then Mara Liasson expressed the belief that Kerry had ruined his chances for 2008 during this episode -- as though the attention span of the media and public would focus on this episode for the next 24 months. Sheesh.
So yes, I am at the point where I think most of them merely parrot each other and that there are very few original thinkers. There are occasional exceptions, of course (Lawrence O'Donnell springs to mind), but most of them appear to be lazy and/or incapable of thought.

The kind of baby rice she fed her five children? The kind of care she gave her grandchildren?
There's nothing to scrutinize, Howie... Nancy Pelosi was a mother and a grandmother before ever running for Congress - and she's honest. Or don't you understand that "San Francisco values" is another Republican boogyman?
