Let's take Bush tax policy one step further
If, as Bush supporters contend, cutting taxes for all Americans, including corporations and the very wealthy; while raising the deficit and the debt is a good idea, why not take that idea one step further.

If cutting taxes, yet spending 2 billion dollars a week in Iraq, and raising the debt ceiling to 8 trillion helps our economy, how about this.

Why not eliminate all taxes on everyone. Income taxes, sales taxes, and property taxes. No taxes of any kind for anyone. Just borrow to pay for ever expanding government spending. Instead of a debt ceiling of 8 trillion, why not 200 trillion and make the no-tax policy permanent. After all, isn't that where we're headed anyway?

(sarcasm intended)

1. I still don't understand why they don't eliminate taxes for 99% of the people...
I mean, if you listen to the pundits defending the tax breaks on the upper 1%, they'll say, "that's because they're the ones paying the taxes!"

So it would seem to me that eliminating taxes on the lower 99% wouldn't be that difficult!
