Do NOT forget about election reform
PLEASE, let us not forget about election reform now that we won. I see a lot of positive ideas coming out of the Democrats right now. It looks like Pelosi is serious about cleaning house, and I also think they'll push for impeachment when the time is right, which is also a positive.

But let us always keep in the back of our minds the very important fact that the presidential election is 2 years away, and that is NOT a lot of time. Move election reform higher up in the priority list, because they tried to steal it this time and failed, but they may not next time.

Paper and pencil ballots. Nationwide. For all elections, local, state, and federal. Period.

PUSH THIS ISSUE.

1. Oh, HELL no. Just because we EKED this one out doesn't mean that...
the battle against Diebold, Sierra, etc. is over. I couldn't agree more. Time to BAN THE MACHINES (priority number one, since the whole of our democracy hangs in the balance).

2. It will never happen
paper and pencil ballots will never happen. If you wanted to be realistic, you should push for better machines, more reliable machines and fail safe machines. Paper and pencil is primitive and would be like going back to horse and buggy to solve the oil crisis.

Realistic, pragmatic election reform is they way to go.
