John Edwards Book Tour Schedule for "Home: The Blueprints of our Lives"
John's book "Home: The Blueprints of our Lives" will be released Nov 14 !

Most of us can trace the shape of our lives back to a physical place—a childhood home that played an enormous role in defining how we see ourselves and how we choose to make our way in the world. In Home, John Edwards has collected nearly sixty moving stories that reflect how these places, in many ways, are the blueprints of our lives. Home features uplifting, touching, and engaging narratives from all kinds of people across the country—everyday Americans with deeply inspiring stories share the pages with well-known figures from entertainment and religion, from politics and sports. Many of the amazing stories from everyday Americans came from the One America online community.

Thanks for the AP link, looks like they're faster than I am :)

From today's AP:

Edwards Edits Book on Childhood 'Homes'

Childhood homes provided a first movie set for Steven Spielberg, a window to New York's theater district for Hank Azaria and a fighting chance for Sugar Ray Leonard. They are among the memories shared in "Home: The Blueprints of Our Lives," a coffee-table collection of mini-memoirs edited by 2004 Democratic vice presidential candidate John Edwards.

"The home, family and the environment in which you grew up never goes away," Edwards said in an interview with The Associated Press. "It has a profound impact on who you are as a human being."

I reserved my copy 2 months ago, so I'm looking forward to its arrival on Tuesday.

According to TV Guide, he will be on Good Morning America on Tuesday Morning, and The Daily Show with John Stewart that evening. I also heard he is going to be on the Letterman Show on Friday.

It does sound interesting... check out Danny Glover and Robert Carr's essays here:

I like that they have pictures to go with the essays, it adds to the reader's understanding.

12. Hi Matt....and thanks for keeping
the DU JRE supporters forum up-to-date, I'm so behind, by about 8,000 MSM news articles...okay, maybe a little exaggerated :) I'm still on my Virginia Webb honeymoon.

BTW, last Sunday, when the Norfolk Virginian-Pilot did a pictoral bio on the Allen and Webb campaigns before Election Day, the Webb article included John with Jim in Fredericksburg at Mary Washington U's rally!!! I think the others were with Obama and MJF. What a ride!
