1. I would love to see this pic and the Newsweek pic
where he is tiny, growling and walking poppy's shadow, side by side. He has become a ridiculous figure. Wonder how long it will be before he recognizes this.

and fantasize about how famous he will be in
the history books.

12. so delusional is he, I would bet you are right!
Still he is so confident and unreflective, there has got to be some mental disconnect between how he thinks he is being perceived (hero, chosen by god to run the country, etc.) and the messages he finally are being forced to at least minimally acknowledge. I would think there has to be a little bit of a psyche-break somewhere along the line.

22. You do have a point, he could begin to rapidly compensate
if and when reality ever penetrates his denial system.
It is not unusual with this kind of personality and it can
be quite ugly. Perhaps it is best if he stays in the world of
his own making.

25. I always wonder what he'll do when his shell breaks
As far as I know, no President has ever taken his own life. Might it be that Bush will be the first? He's crashing pretty hard here and he's getting pretty worried about his "legacy".

Man, wouldn't that be a hell of a headline? "Bush On Suicide Watch At Betty Ford Clinic".

26. Suicide not usually an option for sociopaths or narcissists, BUT
it does happen sometimes when they are faced with severe consequences of their illegal behaviors.

So I would not rule that option out. Bush has a mean sadistic
streak especially when angry. He could lash out and hurt others.

However I think that Poppy Bush has been called to Wash DC to take
over for junior. For junior to allow it means he has hit the wall. Junior is relieved now most likely and will just
be drinking and drugging more as a way to avoid it all.

That is the history, once Daddy bails him out, he is off scott
free. Problems over.

17. I would like to see something in place so that these Oedipal wars
or any other family psychodramas don't take place using the rest of the country as playing pieces and supporting cast. :grr:

No matter who gets elected in '08 and ever after, is going to be human with the attendant baggage and issues...
but damn it, I would like to be certain that they are at least stable, sane, and don't have any major screws loose before taking office.

The stakes and the weapons are just too big anymore to allow Commander Cuckoo-bananas or any of his ilk to be in the driver's seat.

I remember watching in disgust. Someone gave him red white and blue boots. BFD. Now the tables have turned and he can try to hide among his supporters but he ain't walkin tall no more!
