Dear Sen. Schumer, CC: James Carville,
Edited on Sun Nov-12-06 05:35 PM by longship
Sorry, buddy. You are wrong in every way possible.

First, without us progressives you would have taken precisely zero new House seats and zero new Senate seats. You begged for our help and we came through for you in huge numbers.

Second, ruling from the middle is rubbish. We've already had twelve years of ideological purity in Congress. The result has been the devastating wreckage we now see. We don't need any more arrogant assholes telling us about how their ideology is in any way superior to ours.

Third, we're at the table and we intend to stay at the table. You are never going to be rid of us. We have the Internet and we will never give it up. It's our tool to keep ideological jerks in check.

Fourth, we are the rulers. Your job is to listen to us, just like you claim that your job is to listen to those who have turned the USA into a shamble. That's how it works. You listen, then govern, while we rule. Got it?

Finally, just as we will not stand still while we are demonized by a radical fringe which has turned the USA into a cesspool of corruption, lies, and abuse of power, we will not stand still while you do the same.

We're taking our country back. We can do it with your help, and your ideas. Or we can leave all you ideologues behind and take our own tack. The important lesson here is that us Democrats are much stronger united, than divided.

After our collective great victory, your words are much more than hurtful, they're downright harmful. I think you owe progressives a humble apology and a hearty "job well done".

We're waiting for your response.

Sincerely yours,
The progressive wing of the Democratic Party

2. Schumer is a Senator. He has to be talked to and dealt with.
Carville is a nobody. A Zell Miller - an Ann Coulter. Remind me why we're talking AT ALL about what some random jackass says?

(In case what I'm saying isn't clear: Carville's relevance stems DIRECTLY and SOLELY from the fact that people TREAT him as relevant. His relevance is PURELY illusory. If you want him to go away, just stop talking to him. It really is that easy.)

Mr. Matalin doesn't carry much clout anymore. Irrelevant, random jackass to be sure...

5. One last thought...Schumer credited Dean on Maher's show
Friday. I think this should just be directed at Carville....who is the one causing all the trouble.

8. He may have credited Dean, but it was like pulling teeth
to get him to admit it.

11. Giving credit to Dean on a show liberals watch but not on MSM, is like Clinton
telling ALTERNATIVE media conference he now believes Kerry won Ohio, but would NEVER say it to any MSM.

ever talk about, or even being aware of the republican Diebold stealing of elections. As indeed elections were stolen this past Tuesday that should of gone to Dems.

16. An anonymous HuffPoster citing Murdoch's RW Post & a laundry list of bullshit
Edited on Mon Nov-13-06 07:56 AM by TheBorealAvenger
including this gem:

12. Chuck's donor base is heavily weighted to the NY downtown financial heavyweights, and we strongly suspect he won't be good on middle class or working people's issues, as in the Bankruptcy Bill.

this is the most pathetic writing I have seen outside of the RW press in a long time. How far "outside" the RW press is PACHACUTEC? "WE" strongly suspect?? Well, speak for yourself, dumbass.
