1. This should get interesting, beings as how dick will have to move to the side
somewhat and after living the power that comes with the VP position he sure isn't going to want to do that. So the next two years are going to be, well let me say not boring.

2. Maybe they are going to have a rematch of their battle when *ss
was younger? I think it is too late to do much to salvage this term. What they are probably working on is to at least avoid war crimes trials.

3. It's been "Dad's Team" all along.

Absolutely every insider has been a long-time Bush crony.

Putting fresh varnish on the Titanic's deck chairs. :puke:

5. A lot were Nixon cronies instead actually
They were on the bad side of "Dad" since those years. And so on.

I hear Rumsfeld himself got "Dad" in as CIA director back in the day, when they were all on the same side. They were younger then.

7. Poppy was a "Nixon crony" as far as that goes.

These people have been around since Joe McCarthy and before. They're closet fascists. "Red scare" warriors and Batista allies.

8. Absolutely Poppy was a "Nixon crony" at the time.
No argument there. I'm no fan of any of them - history hasn't been that kind, even if Poppy looks like a saint compared to Jr.

12. Please. As if George's father hasn't been running this show all along.
Now the Bush Sr. loving Newsweek is trying to paint this as if George HW Bush is just now coming in to save the day when he has been there all along?

This is really an insult to Americans and to the truth.

For whatever individuals may think of George Jr., one thing he has been is loyal to his father, and has done everything his father has asked him to do.

For one, George Bush Jr. ran for governor and for president under pressure imposed on him to run, not because he wanted to run.

George W could have cared less about politics and policy. However, he has those around him, including his own father, who care very much.

That is probably why he is so angry with his father. He's been used after being loyal.
