2. I hope some people watched this
it showed recruiters going to grade schools (among other things) and how they lie and make the army seem glamorous and not the least bit dangerous.

3. This was hilarious.
Principal Skinner, to recruiters at his school: There's nothing I wouldn't do for my Army!

Recruiter: Well, how about signing up again?

Skinner: How about you bite me?

4. What was with the "Dearborn, Michigan" comment?
It came when they were at the school in the auditorium and the recruiter said something about this. I did not get what they meant. Was that a criticism against the arab population?

5. That one sailed over my head too. Simpsons would NOT be a show to make fun of an ethnic population,
generally, so I'm guessing that joke, whatever its intent, did not come off as intended.

6. I wished I would have taped it.
I am sure they would not do something so stupid, but it sure came off that way. I only live a few miles from Dearborn and it is predominantly arab so it was a bit shocking. Things can be a bit tense regarding the arab population and I hope they did not take offense at being mentioned. I still wish I knew what they were trying to say. Time will tell, I guess.

7. I'm guessing it was a joke to the effect of "yeah, like a town full of Arabs is going to be dumb
enough to enlist in Bush's Army to fight his anti-Arab crusade--NOT" kind of thing.

I liked when the Colonel said "Great Cheney's Ghost!" when surrendering at the end.

9. Wasn't Dearborn mentioned in Fahrenheit 9/11 ? Perhaps an
acknowledgement to Michael Moore and his hometown perhaps ?

15. I'd given the show up for dead (except Halloween) the last few years, but they
still hit one out of the park once in a while.
