Where I attempt to let folks know that there's a Silent COUP going on right now with "Poppyists" Taking over the White House in FULL VIEW, while the Media keeps harping on "How did those damn Dems win with No Plan?"

Damn German words.. you just keep adding to them until they're as long as your arm, and contain an entire story in one word, with sections from the 12th century up to the end of the word that will add a New American Technical term..

Strange language, tho Joeseph Campbell, the great Symbol Writer said that you HAVE to understand German to enjoy the great Philosophies of the world.

But the old National Lampoon once said that Germans "Knew nothing of Sexual Reproduction until the 13th century, having previously reproduced by raiding Warthog litters.." :)

I forget things like deportment, and tact, but THIS is just way too OBVIOUS and seems like it would be easily communicated, just a generational Gap and lack of media coverage, a dead piece of history with Bush Senior's papers all locked up by his son the first thing, as soon as he STOLE into the White House..

But I appreciate the remarks, this was a little "test" by me, to see if I could write something quick and cogent that people might want to read in my own style - I'm writing a book (been working on it for five years now) and I have hopes that it will blow some people away, a wide range of people, even have Hollywood interest in it already, and met with Ralph Steadman to see if he'd do the cover - an environmental book that's a mix of Hunter S. Thompson, Bukowski, Hemmingway, Salinger (at least I HOPE it comes off as a mix of these sensibilities), with lots of action from when I was flying around in Choppers in Alaska, crashing in the Tundra, being chased naked from a village with hachets and shotguns TOWARD OUR camp where the Vietnam Vet pilots were pulling THEIR pistols.. crazy stuff like that.. but with a MESSAGE that I think will be heartfelt by Very Many if I'm successful..

Just wanted to compare a 10 minute info piece with my work, and damn if Buzzflash didn't pick up on it :)

Ain't no Will Pitt of course, so it makes me feel Good to see them put it out there..

Digressing, but really do THANK you for saying that. :)

12. I'm amazed at the description of my style

I never looked at it that way, but I Like hearing it.. funny, it's like being in a wrestling match, in the thick of it you have no idea how to WIN, and all you need is for someone in the bleacher to say, "RAKE HIS BALLS!" and Voila, you WIN :) (did some wrestling in high school, then there was the NUN wrestling, but that's another story :) )

I'm very appreciative of your remarks and I enjoy your posts and intellect - hearing this from someone like you makes me feel all the better about spending five years on this book, maybe it won't be time wasted. Maybe a book CAN change the world, I know I've been remade by books like Siddhartha, etc..

Another couple of months and I'll be THERE, the long awaited FINISH - I had NO IDEA how HARD it is to write a damn book, makes me appreciate Will Pitt's silver tongue a bit more.

Born with a silver tongue in his mouth, heh...

she is out, but she won't talk. the little she said is stunning. the women were in lock up for 19 hours a day. they were not given much toilet paper and no fem products. they were chained face down on the floor of a van during transport across state lines. they were taunted. she is in counseling, but not telling us much. she may have post traumatic shock, we simply don't know. but she is back home. thanks for asking and for all the support. btw, the other women are still in there.

well, anyone, but women especially. Chaining a woman FACE DOWN during transport? I don't think they even did that to "detainees" in Iraq from the smuggled pics I saw, hoods and floor chains, but not FACE DOWN, that's uncalled for, brutality for no reason.

I hope the counseling works. SOmetimes we can go through difficult and exremely traumatic times and bounce back. I had some Nam pals who lived a full and happy life, and I know they saw and did terrible things.

Some of the nicest ladies I ever met, the most gracious had tattoos on their arm, there was no reason to bring it up, and they didn't talk about it either, but they GLOWED with something most people don't have. They had been Deeply in touch with themselves, more than any of us can imagine, they've been to the edge and back, and have what I think most religions would call GRACE. And a dignity that is so much more precious than some people can even imagine.

I hope the counselling helps. Sometimes there are things better left unsaid.

But I DO hope to god there actually IS a thing called Karma, and that any bastard that would CHAIN ANY woman face down will get to stand in front of someone or the Universe itself and TRY, just TRY TO DEFEND that Action.

Indefensible, period. But in the end, their weakness can become her strength, there are transfers taking place in this world between people, some balance is achieved and in the end SHE will be filled with the strength and dignity her captors LOST with their actions.

I wish her nothing but Healing, and hope that the others who are being treated like common criminals stand together and somehow hear that MANY of us are working HARD to get them FREE.

Give her time, it takes time when you find out that human beings can be monsters, most of us never imagine it, Kubblar-Ross was raised in a Concentration Camp and knew that well. SOunds like she's been throught roughly the same experience.

All of a sudden even Police in the neighborhood streets weren't "arresting" anyone, they were "detaining" people.. and of course the word "detain" seems fairly innocuous to most folks. "Oh, I had to detain someone for a second and then they were on their way, nothing more than an Inconvenience.."

If you ARREST Someone THEN they have RIGHTS, but as far as the Bush Admin and their Psyops folks are concerned if you call them a "DUCK" then they don't have any rights, because they are NOT a Human Being under "arrest".. they are a "DUCK" and have no Human Rights either.

REFRAMING is being used to REINTERPRET "law". Words ARE DANGEROUS. The Pen IS Mightier than the Sword. But their "Pens" ARE their "Swords", especially with Gonzales at the helm.

IN the old days the CIA used to operate in Secret. NOW they are ALL OVER the front pages, PROUD articles showing them using a DRONE to fire on a 7 foot tall Arab, as there can be no other TALL Arab in the world than Osama Bin Laden. The OLD Bush Regime operated in SECRET, but NOW here they are strolling in the front door of the White House free as they please, and HOW do they get away with it?

The MEDIA of course, and once again it's REFRAMING debates, the minds of Joe Sixpack, REInventing their own History ala Winston Smith, and bouncing Lies like Ping Pong Balls between Publications for Credibility ala Judith Miller, their Waterbearer for the Plame scene, the bringer of Mushroom Clouds.

What Bush is saying is that NO ONE has any Rights, the immigrants are just the trial balloon, the test subject for legal precedence, just like with Welfare people, they use those who have the LEAST chance of defending themselves to create those Precedents and then make a Grab for the rest of us.

Unfortunately LaLa, your loved one is being used as a "guinea pig", and that old saw about "They came for the XXXX and *I* DID NOTHING.. THEN they came FOR ME.." is more true than it's ever been.

You keep hammering them, if I can get your back, I'm THERE.

Maybe someone should stand up and ask Mr Bush what part of Christ's statement, "How you Treat the LEAST of my Brother's and Sisters is how you treat ME.." he doesn't understand?

I do not trust Poppy or Baker/Hamilton or anyone else the repubs choose. Why should I. They have already shown us who they are.

I can hardly stand to watch corp media but when I do I see them trying to rewrite reality by having Republicans tell us what Democrats think. Where are the Democrats. We can speak for ourselves. On the Today Show yesterday in the first 10 minutes they featured McCain; today it was Rudy. They are such shills.

They also did a bit on the new MS-Ipod and had a disclaimer that the same company who owns MS owns them (the Today Show). They should have to have disclaimers with political reports too.
