Hidden Bush closely watching election

by Olivier Knox
November 7, 2006

WASHINGTON (AFP) -
President George W. Bush sweated out US elections at the White House, making 11th-hour telephone calls to allies and awaiting results set to shape his legacy and his last two years in office.

Bush planned to stay out of sight and break his silence on the hard-fought vote only on Wednesday, but aides insisted he was not worried about pollster predictions that anger at the
Iraq war would help opposition Democrats retake the House of Representatives and make gains in the Senate.

"The president is in a good mood," said White House spokesman Tony Snow, adding that Bush would dine with a longtime friend and some aides before retiring with political guru Karl Rove to follow the evolving battle.

snip

At his final rally on Monday, Bush fell back on well-worn political rhetoric, branding Democrats as tax-raisers who cannot be trusted to wage the global war on terrorism he declared after the September 11, 2001 attacks.

Recycling a message that served him well in the midterm 2002 elections and the White House race two years later, Bush told armies of Republican faithful that "we're at war" with terrorists and said Democrats have "no plan" to win.

No, *. You are at war with your daddy.

this paragraph is what caught my eye----->

"The president is in a good mood," said White House spokesman Tony Snow, adding that Bush would dine with a longtime friend and some aides before retiring with political guru Karl Rove to follow the evolving battle."

How is 'retiring' used in that sentence? He went to bed with KKKarl OR he retired KKKarl, OR what?????

heh heh heh

34. To these guys bringin Dignity to the WHite House
would mean flipping the seat cushion OVER to hide the stains. :)

Can you imagine Bush and Rovey Boy sitting there laughing as Rove keeps telling Bush, "Oh no, that's a GOOD THING!" and then wafting another "air biscuit" at Bush who lovingly leans over and farts HARD in Rove's direction..

Oh the fun they have there in our White House.

I like to think that someone like Lincoln would step out onto a balconey to rip one off, out of respect for the institution and the History of that sacred place, instead of playing FART ping pong across the room. Did they have spitting contests yet? Maybe they let Barney just shit anywhere he wants inside, so they can FIND IT and surprise each other, "Gee Laura, look where that damn dog SHIT this TIME.. Under Lincoln's BED.. GOOD DOG.."

There are no words to show the revulsion I feel when I look at the White House, something I considered a bastion of Freedom, and think about those VILE, corrupt, infantile abcesses even being within 100 miles of it.

but the chair IS FUNNY.. My first thought was "Goddamn it Turdblossom, Look what YOU MADE ME DO! A Whole Bottle of Jim Beam all over my UNDERWEAR!"

Good one SocalDem :)
