...and some bits are turned off (see http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=announcement&id=1). The view options isn't listed as one of them, but I'm guessing that's the reason... |

it radically popularizes DU, in a way that shows fringe threads as minority views, and by
this tool of the popular as a constant measure, 'underground' status is diminished.
