Will Bush try to influence the Iraq Study Group's findings prior to final public report?

I'll bet anything that if the Study Group looked like it was going to suggest partitioning the country (for instance), W. would try to get them to drop the recommendation. After all, i his mind the Study Group is for political cover, not for recommendations that the administration should have to pay attention to, and it's certainly not there (in W.'s mind) to create political embarrassment.

I wouldn't count on Chimpy doing anything to counter the Study Group's recommendations, not unless he wants a good switchin' behind the Crawford woodshed by Poppy. And I'm sure he's already had plenty of those.
