Dear Ms. Malkin

I wish I could write to you with a better understanding of your views, but alas I cannot bring myself to the point of actually reading what you write. I hope you understand. Its just that I've seen you work the talking head circuit to promote your books and to be honest, I experience a gut level revulsion to the little bit I have heard.

I write to you today in order to ask you what the meaning of "Unhinged" is. It's the title of your latest book and from all appearances the word unhinged as used in this context appears to mean a group of people who have completely lost touch with reality, in so many words, such that they start doing crazy, illogical, sometimes violent things because of their irrational way of dealing with anger. I would be considered a member of that group you call unhinged.

Today it was revealed that a man was arrested for mailing threats to various liberal media personalities. He apparently is not one of our flock as he is a star over at the Free Republic web site. In his profile at Free Republic he lists you as one of his personal heroes.

I'm confused. If a gentleman who is a devotee of your principled philosophy mails fake anthrax to a number of people as to threaten them, i.e., terrorism, would that person also be considered unhinged. Curious minds want to know.

Than Malkin. She's 'Malthrax' - the mind poisoner. She and Ann Coulter, Bill O'Reilly, Limbaugh and others are the vanguard of media pollution, setting standards for what's possible to say in public media about liberals and democratic people. The repub politicians have earned from this wave of on-air pundits by being able to point at them when criticised for their own hate rethoric, and use them as a 'proof' of legality.

Thinking about it, I have no problems believing that Malkin's blog or books has inspired the freeper to send fake anthrax letters.
