Anyone with customer service problems with Earthlink email account? |
|
I have had a number of problems recently.
This past week my account was down for a few days and yet the server kept responding normally and performed as if as though emails were being received.
Also, many times recently the server has shown that (for example) will say four or five emails are incoming, however only one or two actually are retrieved. In other words, emails seem to dropping and/or being removed.
I also had significant problems getting a service person on the phone which hasn't been a problem before.
Also, this was interesting. I've always spoken to someone like "Matt, Dave, or John" from India.
However when I finally DID speak to someone today, it was a guy from Texas? I don't think I've ever spoken with anyone from Texas much less a guy with an accent.
Interesting and frustrating week with Earthlink.
Just ain't right.

4. Earthlink has a spam filter that automatically puts emails into a spam folder |
|
so sometimes I will have the popup saying there are 5 emails but only 1 or 2 show up in the inbox. The others are actually in the spam box.
Are you getting your emails via webmail or using another program?

8. Keep an eye on your accounts, I was slammed after a series of tech support calls to E-link. |
|
My email is acting normal. I'm assuming you have not changed virus scanners. Avast is known for causing email problems.

10. I'm beginning to wonder if Earthlink doesn't like my politics. |
|
I sent out some tests this morning. Not a problem. All went through with no problem.
I then sent an email by Helen Caldicott to friends. The return address was my email. I never received it. This has been going on for a couple of weeks now.
VERY frustrating.
