Jon Stewart movie script eerily echoes Freeper case

I wrote it in spring. Jon's team read it in summer. Now it appears to be real. See how the spec movie script I wrote for Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert eerily seems to be parallel to what just happened with Freeper Psycho these past few days. 5. Glad I don't know him

Thank G-d I'm not in anything that psycho owns. But I still feel extremely sickmade and weird tonight reading this, though. Makes me think about the lady who wrote that early 1910 or so story "The Titan", about a gigantic ocean liner thought to be unsinkable, that hits the iceberg and goes straight down - yes, it was named "The Titan" - as in "Titanic" - or about someone who might have written a story in 1962 about Kennedy being assassinated by a guy with the initials LHO. You feel REAL DAMN WEIRD when you wrote something and then see it happening. There are too many frigging similarities between what I wrote and what this nutcase seems to be about. IT'S LIKE I SAW THE DAMN GUY IN MY MIND.

Add to the equation I'm supposed to meet Stewart Friday. That'll be awkward, won't it? I'm scared to death of saying a single word to him. What do I say?

6. Maybe a new idea for a screenplay: The Cassandra Effect

Always writing scripts that come true. That's an idea worth playing around with if you can get over the creepiness of actually feeling like you channeled the real guy in some psychic fashion.

I'd watch the movie. It sounds spooky.

Damn, you should be a producer. I'd buy that pitch. I just cannot believe Jim Dixon passed on this movie and now Jon is living it! He didn't even let Jon read the script, man! The irony of this is too thick to cut with a chainsaw. I wonder if JS is going to bring it up at the party Friday.

10. If I were Jon I'd hide from me

If it were me, and I were a guy, and some wrecktard sent a photo like that to me and mentioned my wife on it, I wouldn't be much in the mood for joking about anything. If Jon can get past this without closing up emotionally and becoming guarded and bitter, he's more resilient than just about anything in the universe. He does seem kinda indestructible, but... :(

But really, I feel sick and weird having written, um, a script where Stewart gets stalked by a psychotic neoconservative serial killer/internet lurker, and not three months after he passes on the script, Stewart in real life gets stalked by a psychotic neoconservative serial killer/internet lurker. I keep looking over my shoulder wondering if I have a Caucasian, overweight, evil male twin living in Woodland Hills who did this. I mean I saw everything about this guy. The photo collage, the list of newspeople, the white powder, the remote suburban house, the Latino name... I am freaked.the.f_ck.out. by this...

How the F did I see this?
What's Jon going to say?
*Does* he see the irony?

11. I know you're really freaked out.

And I sure as hell can't blame you. But, you get a shot at meeting Jon and talking with him. Sounds like he already knows about your screenplay. Try to relax and just go with what happens.
By the way, your scenario, had I read it as fiction a month ago, would not have startled me at all. The election seems to have sent a few already unstable people over the edge. It's not your fault, unless you feel guilty for your vote. I know I don't.

It's a .pdf. I can't figure out how to post it here at DU or on the blog. Do you know how? Does anyone?

PS, you're right. And no, I don't regret that Democrat vote at all (although my state of residence, New Mexico, kept R Heather Wilson despite my and everyone else's vote for D Patsy Madrid). The shift in tide does seem to have washed up a few nuts and acorns indeed.

I'm still shocked at how Jim would pass on a movie like that when it's just what Jon ought to be doing right now, and how Jon did nothing to stop him. And further, how it seems to be coming true. On another weird tip, a psychic I visited - IN WOODLAND HILLS CA, by the way, as I used to LIVE THERE AND STILL HANG OUT THERE EVERY MONTH... yechhh - told me "don't worry about the movie. Something is going to happen to make Jon Stewart pick up that screenplay, read it and change his mind." This was back in October when she said this. I know, I know... I look weird listening to psychics... but hey: I'm from Los Angeles :)

I don't think you can post a .pdf file through Blogger. But most free sites (there are still a couple out there in the universe) will allow you to upload any kind of file you like. Then just link to the site's url address, just having a link like:
h t t p: // freesite.com/accountname/filename.pdf
Link just as you would an .html file link.

Someone unstable at the FBI or at Dixon Talent could point the finger at ME and accuse me of somehow orchestrating this entire thing to goad Stewart into reconsidering my movie project. That in itself would make a good movie.

Looking over the script, I see the birthday of my movie's fictional serial killer out to destroy Jon Stewart and several other news personalities happens to have been CLOSE TO June of 1967. July of 1966, I'm noticing. Just a thing that makes you go Hmm.
