1. People forget about how unpopular Rudy was.
He was a walking scandal until 9/11.

2. Rudy - Married his cousin (first wife)
Announced his divorce from his second wife on the steps of St. Patrick's Cathedral before he even told her - she learned it from the press. Donna Hanover then had to get a court order to prevent him from bringing his mistress home to Gracie Mansion. Then he moved in with his gay friends on the upper east side to wait out the divorce proceedings. Now married to his mistress, the socialite Judith Nathan. Family values my ass.

5. Don't forget Newt!
Last night on Hardball, Matthews asked Waterboy Ed Rollins about him. "What was the reason he stepped down again?"

7. The right wing talking point fed to me by a freeper...
Newt got in trouble for making a book deal while in office, which wasn't any different than what "Hillary" did.

 :dunce:

12. That may have been Rollins' comment
I was laughing too hard to hear what he actually said. The smirk on Matthews' face was priceless. LOL!

8. McCain didn't just dump his first wife. He acknowledges that his adultery
broke up his first marriage.

More about him here (Mafia?):

9. What comes to mind when one thinks of Rudy?

...but that's me, I guess! Others may see Kerik first, or the lunacy of putting the Emergency Response Center at a location that had already been bombed by terrorists, or his hideous combover...I see his willingness to ignore or even foster police brutality so that Times Square can look like a fetid Disneyland....

10. Bob Dole, Phil Gramm, Pete Wilson, Newt Gingrich (twice)
all dumped their first wives for a trophy one. I used to include Reagan in this list, but was told that he was dumped by his wife..

And it is not just that the Clinton stayed married - and every marriage is different. It is that we've never thought that it was anyone's business what is happening in the privacy of two consenting adults.
