Randi: AAR offices were sent white powder in envelopes
Edited on Tue Nov-14-06 03:15 PM by LSK
November 14, 2006 -- Three packages containing white powder were found yesterday in the mail by a worker at the Manhattan studios of liberal talk-radio station Air America, police said.

The employee made the find at the stations' headquarters at 641 Sixth Ave.

The three packages - one of which was addressed to on-air personality Al Franken - contained a powder-like substance, which proved to be harmless.

4. Not only that, but Randi was pissed that the Pest misreported it!!

I had to laugh, because they completely misreported Keith Olbermann's reaction to getting his fake anthrax-o-gram, and even reported it on Page Six while making him an object of ridicule.

So what do they do now, but all of a sudden they're all serious about it...but they still can't get the facts right!

on edit: I love how the story links to their "POWER PUFF SPOOKS KEITH" story, so it's very easy to see how they ridiculed him when he got his letter, pooh-poohing the whole thing.
