they acted like it was a work of genius as they discussed it beforehand. then they played it, and it was as bad as the worst of current SNL, and that's SAYING something.
I'd say that's when they jumped the conventional wisdom shark

I could never understand the appeal, and as a huge fan of Woody, I found it an insult to his legacy and that wonderful song.
