Oh My! Matthews still pushing Dems don't have Plan and CNN onto Iran |
|
also Blitzer pushing Evan Bayh about his run for '08 and how he feels about Hillary (Gosh!) :eyes: and Tweety just keeps pushing Baker is the guy and why don't the Dems have a plan...and who's running in '08.
I didn't think coverage would change with our win...but I guess I can take heart that at least CNN is including more Dems although Tweety seems to be still emphasizing Repugs with less time to Dems but at least he's having them.
If you listened to MSM you'd think it's up to Dems to Clean up Repug MESS in Iraq and that nothing else matter but Election '08.
So much REAL NEWS valuable to Americans is lost in this endless "Sports Game" of which team is up and which Manager will have the Plan to take the Team to Victory. I'd feel better if I thought they were rooting for Dems ...but that's too much to ask for.
Conservative "no news" bent in Cable News still RULES. :-(

and with a brother running for office in PA who lost and a son trying to make it as a comedian in NY and who knows what the other son is doing...I guess it comes down to "holding one's whore job" and how often you can get on IMUS in the MORNING as to where one's principles are.
Blitzer is the unknown...but bringing a Super Bowl Star as his "companion" to the Washington Press Corps Dinner might show where his heart is when he isn't showing his loyalty to the Christian Network that gave him his job at the Jerusalem Post when he was a "pup."
Where is the REAL NEWS? Too many "compromised loyalties" there for us to see a change. AND...it's who they WORK FOR! Corporate Media....:-(

3. His reaction on election night tells the tale |
|
He is a Catholic right wing nut... who doesn't like the Bushies... but he is a republican loyalist
He was in a funk and almost crying all night long, blubbering about Santorum losing.

Tweety kept going on and on about Talent losing too... saying things like "Talent, who did nothing WRONG... blah blah blah, whine, whine, whine". I wanted to jump through the TV and bitch slap him and tell him "YES, Talent did something wrong, he supported an illegal war and didn't represent his constituents, you ASSHOLE". It was like Tweety thinks that once elected, you are ENTITLED to the job so long as you kept your nose clean and didn't insult someone on camera. What an self important asshat.

This is starting to get ridiculous. Dems didn't start this war. They HAVE to wait until the Bushbaby comes up with something before they can do anything. Repukes will shoot them down all over the place since they are not officially in power until Jaunary.

and Tweety would still pretend not to see it.

8. That's what I was thinking...their "Model" is outdated like Karl Rove's and |
|
they don't get that the "tide has turned" the ship is sinking and the first hearty, fat rats have already left the ship.
They can Merge and Sell Off pieces of their failing "Infotainment Empire" and the "People" won't care. The only real news is links to diversity news on the Internet. And, they are trying to take even that away from us.
They don't get it and they won't, but they are dead like the Movie Industry unless they start to report for those of us REAL FOLKS out there.
They can only sell us so much cheap goods from China and other Third World Countries and time is running out for them...

12. I have decided to listen to 1 hour of local news and no more. |
|
The cable news shows are desperate for some kind of scandal-ridden news reports since the thrashing the Dems handed out. They don't know what to do but they are all singing from the same sheet...election 2008. They all sound alike, ask the same questions, talk about the same potential candidates. It's maddening. So I have decided to tune them out until the new year. I may pass by to read the banners several times during the day but I am through with them for now.
