How The Deal With Bush Could Play Out
Just sort of thinking about how things could work out. How's this sound.

Bush is confronted and given this set of two options. Option one lets him stay in office with strict supervision. He gets to accept whatever Baker comes up with as long as it gets us out of Iraq in a year, 15 months tops. His cabinet gets tossed to the wolves in the upcomming Congressional hearings, they fare as they do or do not, he is not to intervene in their behalf. He is to sign into law every bill that comes to him from the Democratic Congress - no exceptions, no Veto. He will do so for the next 18 months, after which and in the 5 months preceeding the 2008 election, he is fee to proceede as he sees fit. In return he will not face impeachment in the House.

Option 2 lets Waxman and Conyers have at him with impeachment the likely outcome, something those who confront him assure him will not happen if he accepts option 1.

How's that sound?
