WE GOT ANOTHER HOUSE SEAT!!! (Courtney, CT-02)
Edited on Tue Nov-14-06 10:07 PM by Finnfan
The recount is done, and Courtney beat Simmons by 93-96 votes (depending on who you believe)

That's 30 seats!!!!!!!

3. Isn't it nice to just count actual votes and not electoral votes?

10. That's just funny. The repubs claim Courtney won by 96 and the Dems say 93?
Talk about opposite day!

incumbent Hayworth(R) to Harry Mitchell(D) in AZ.

23. Yeah but without Howard Dean's 50 state strategy we'd have 100 more seats.
Just ask Jim Carville. He'll tell you.

25. What an asshole thing to say (Carville not you)
No one can be sure that Dems would have one anything without the 50 state strategy. From where I sit, I think Dean deserves accolades not bricks

Since one of the two run-off elections is between two Dems?
