How are you feeling right now (the political situation)?

Seeing that the Democrats won a sizable victory last week, how do feel about the coming political climate in the country?

1. Good but mostly relieved.

I think we just barely escaped but we did not do so intact. We have lost so much that will take years to get back if at all possible.

I feel we are less at risk from our government now and that is a wonderful feeling but I wonder and worry if our victory will lead us to changes. I am not convinced that it will.

2. Average: I have a wait and see attitude.

We need to see if they are going to be strong and try to get things done or if they are going to play the same bullshit games.

4. I feel tentatively optimistic

not good, not bad - definately not average, if we average the past 6 years. But so much damage has been done and so much more done covertly and secretively - I'm not sure how much can be rectified in 2 years.

The Death Star is blown up, and the rebels on Yavin are saved for now, but Darth Vader and the Emperor are still kicking, and there's a huge Empire that still has to be dealt with.

We avoided total fascist meltdown. Here's hoping we continue to avoid it.
