Wall Street Tosses Support to Democrats
By David Weidner
Marketwatch
NEW YORK (Nov. 14) - Wall Street, led by Goldman Sachs Group Inc., ended a 12-year run of Republican support by giving 51% of its donations to Democrats in this year's midterm elections.

Securities and investment firms donated $24.8 million to Democrats through Oct. 10, compares to $22.5 million, or 47% of all funds, to the GOP, according to Federal Election Commission data compiled by the Center for Responsive politics.

Employees and political action committees at Goldman Sachs led all contributing firms by donating $2.62 million to all parties including $1.57 million to Democrats. Goldman was followed by Morgan Stanley, $1.59 million overall and UBS, $1.5 million.

2. I agree. Just take a peek at the Wall Street Journal
sometime. Go to the Editorial section. The hatred for the Dem's is unbelievable.

In fact, I finally figured out a really good use for the Editorial Section.

I opened it up, right on that page. Put it in my Kitty Litter Box. Let the kitty do his thing....

3. If the people who wrote those editorials knew what they were
talking about, they'd be working for Goldman Sachs instead of making 10 times less writing propaganda.

4. Simple. They saw the Republican losses coming, and figured they better
hedge their bets and "get in" with the new powers to be.

It's still not like they were giving 90 percent to the Dems like most of these guys probably were to the Republicans these last several years.

5. International business has been terrible.....
Business types having to explain themselves and their country and Iraq everytime they set foot in Europe. The GOP became bad for business; that's all!
