Tricks, lies, mumbo jumbo to stretch the war out as long as possible. |

Word games will be played as more of our sons and daughters die in this sick chess game for royalty. Instead of simply leaving the hell hole of Iraq, the maniacs in charge will complicate and convolute instead of doing the right thing, and will drag it out as long as possible for maximum profit and power.
'Redeployment' will be mentioned, whatever that is, 'more troops' will be mentioned, as idiotic as it sounds, a 'slow pullout', a face saving, stroll out of Iraq, not running with tails between legs, 'victory' will be mentioned, and the 'job' will be given lots of ink.
Bureaucratic complications will be blamed and exploited, thousands will be tortured to death in the meantime, more G.I.'s will die and more mothers will cry, and more fat cats will get richer than God rather than simply, simply leaving that hell hole.
The American people have spoken, now how long before our 'leaders' hear it?

1. While we now rue the day we invaded Iraq, we will eventually rue the day we tucked tail and ran. |

Allowing terrorists to control Iraq will be so very bad for us in so many ways. What's more, while we all know that Bush is the one who snatched defeat from the jaws of victory, if we cut and run, the Democratic party will be held responsible for the loss just as we are presently blamed for the loss in Vietnam. I don't think we should limit our dialog and, thus our options to the inevitability of a US rout. Bush and his neo-cons are idiot chicken hawks who couldn't fight their way out of a wet paper sack. We have said as much countless times at least. If we are so much smarter, should we not be able to come up with a better strategy than defeat? edit spelling
