3. I know I heard that Foley was going to stay somewhat longer in
rehab, they didn't say how much longer. Alcohol treatment is usually 30 days in rehab, but I have no idea how the child molestation affects that. It seems to me an attraction to young boys would require a lot longer than 30 days, but I've never heard if the patient is kept in rehab during treatment or not.

7. Substance abuse treatment, in-patient type, can take more than 30 days. Not uncommon.
It's not uncommon for in-patient substance abuse treatment to be for more than 30 days. The 30 days is kind of the basic minimum for someone to sober up and begin facing their addiction.

Obviously, after the in-patient treatment there is often a lengthy out-patient treatment period and a life-long attention and particpation to staying sober.

4. Foley has effectively been disappeared
Edited on Wed Nov-15-06 10:11 AM by TechBear_Seattle
By being involved in a scandal that helped the Democrats to take back the government, he has been secretly accused and convicted of treason. He is now, in actual fact, sitting in a 3x5 cell in Gitmo.

8. I suspect it has a lot to do with the info that will come out on Foley.
Remember, there were a lot of staffers who testified, and their statements differed from Dennies. I think he backed away so when the info is released, he doesn't dirty thenewHouse leadership.
