Sen. Mitch McConnell as Minority Leader, and Sen. Trent Lott as Minority Whip. Although both are rich, old, southern white men with a southern twang, Republicans defended their elections by pointing out that Sen Lott does enjoy jazz, and buys all his hair-pieces from a gay owned hair salon.

Both Senators McConnell and Lott are also married to woman, so they have a keen understanding of the issues facing woman in this country.

Said RNC Senatorial campaign chair Liddy Dole; "we wanted a leadership that looked like America. We feel we have done that with Senators Lott and McConnell. They reflect the 'big-tent' of the Republican Party of the 21ST century".

8. I'm just thinking about how sweet it is that the face of the

Republican Party is two crotchety old white southern guys. We all know these guys. They're the ones that used to yell at us to stay off their lawns.

We should start calling the Repukes Senate leadership "Grumpy Old Men".

I used to think that Dems would struggle if we couldn't win in the south. We may not need the south now...AND NO! I am not "southern bashing".

GOP now stands for "Grumpy Old Perverts".
