Just who is responsible for the mess in Iraq?
The Iraqi people?

Just who's war is this anyway?

2. it depends on what side you are looking at
Remember, the English called us similar names to terrorists when we would not fight in a formation like they did. We hid behind trees because we couldn't fight head on with the English Army. Now the Iraqi insurgents are doing the same to us. I would say that it's good that Saddam is gone, but now we need to give the Iraqi gov't more money so they can take care of business and get out of Iraq in a year.

We should take the responsibility of not having good intel before the war. That was a mistake on our part. Whether the Iraqi's want us out or not, it's not okay for them to blow up cars. That is just nuts. There is always the risk that innocent women and children could get hurt or killed.

Our job now is to equip the Iraqi Army and Police to do their job and get out of the way.

3. An easier question would be, "who is not responsible for the mess in Iraq?"
The people that eventually became Iraqis were no prize themselves, the British had more than a little to do with creating the situation, we have been busy installing Saddam and other dictators in the area since WWII, the Saudis, Iranians, Syrians, etc. have done their pot stirring duty.

But the short answer is it is our mess.

4. We are responsible for the mess we created.
The argument is over how we should clean it up.

5. depends on the day and the spin
On Monday it might be Saddam's fault.

On Tuesday it might be Osama's fault.

On Wednesday, it might be the fault of Democrats at one RW site, the fault of the Iraqi people at another, and the fault of Osama AND Saddam (working together) at another.

But I know one thing for certain:

It is NEVER Bush's fault.

6. Right ...
Depending on what talking point is being spewed, it will be one of three options, the democrats, the press and the Iraqis ...

9. Just remember not to blame Bush. Ever.
I mean, just because he cherrypicked intelligence and even today says he would have still gone to war knowing what we know now, its not his fault...

Its lunacy, but for some reason you can blame any of the five usual suspects (Osama, Saddam, Iraqis, Dems, bad intel), but even suggesting in a public media setting that Bush might share blame is treason.

Sad state we are in...

7. It all lies at the feet of the knucklehead in chief
He surrounded himself with poppy's cronies and neocons and either bought that load of shit or liked the idea of the riches beyond belief.
The bushes are not benevolent leaders, but think only of themselves and the ones that brought them.
Dirty rotten scoundrels.

11. Project for a New American Century (PNAC) . . . it's all their doing . . .
BushCo was simply their vehicle for making it happen . . .

13. Does PNAC include Fox News?
It would seem they certainly are profiting from it (and getting off on it too).
