ABC Seems Intent On Stirring Shit Up (Abramoff/Dems and Schumer vs. Kerry)

First there's the bullshit story ABC did about Abramoff set to hand over evidence against Congressional Dems.

Now this story is probably a smear based on twisting whatever lobbying and donations Abramoff may know about. But lobbying and donations aren't illegal. It was Abramoff and the corrupt GOP stepping over the line that was illegal.

Anyway, this same story says Abramoff visited the White House 6 times and the real number is like 200! HELLO?

Second, ABC just put out another story spun that Schumer dissed Kerry. Apparently some ABC mediawhore was around as Schumer was setting up a photo shoot with new Democratic Congresscritters. APPARENTLY, Schumer only wanted Democratic Leadership in the shoot with the new Democrats. BIG. FUCKING. DEAL.

But ABC twists the story into some nonsense about Schumer dissing Kerry.

DU'ers please stop taking the Mediawhore bait. I do not know why so many DU'ers insist on swallowing it whole and unquestioningly.

2. The Kerry Schumer thing is pure BS

Kerry has a chairmanship for krissake! He is not in the leadership. If he was in the leadership he would not have a chairmanship. What the hell is wrong with ABC News? This is normal stuff. There is a Dem Leadership, there are Dem Chairs. They perform different functions and both are nice to have, especially those chairmanships, after all these years.

5. the guy running abs news declared republican that thinks we have a

liberal media and his intent is to "bring it to balance", ergo attack on the dems at all times to show how fair they are. he was on colbert report. colbert asked for example three times of liberal media and the guy talked about other shit. finally colbert yelled, you wrote it in your book, back it up. the guy brought up cbs rather report.

6. They have their story, and they're sticking with it

Abramoff was a bipartisan scandal, and the Democrats are in disarray. So has it been, so shall it ever be, until such time as it isn't, and every story will fit the mold, whether the facts conform to it or not.

Unfortunately for the likes of ABC, we're onto them and the little semantic games they're so fond of. They seem determined to keep playing them, which means we have to be determined to keep calling them on it.

8. ABC article

Out of all the articles written, ABC is the only one that says Abramoff has info on dems. All others tell about his saying rove got stuff. Where did ABC get this information that is so contradicting all the other articles. Remember they fired (eventually) Dan Rather because he had CORRECT INFORMATION presented in memos that proved to be false. But then ABC the network of Path to 9/11.
