KEYWORDS: GOP; LOTT; VACANTLOTT -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So, Trent V.* Lott is back to haunt us. This is stupid. This is why we lose.
The belly crawler isn't done with us yet.

To: Al Gator Lott should never have "stepped down" in the first place. Hopefully his "experience" has grown him a spine.

To: Al Gator Oh no! Trent Lott has no guts what-so-ever. Even the thought of his return makes me sick to my stomach.

To: rhombus "Hopefully his "experience" has grown him a spine."
No, it gave him callouses on his belly so he can crawl better.

To: Al Gator Considering the alternative was Lamar Alexander, I'm not sure why this is cause for so much consternation.

To: Al Gator I agree with everything you say. However, I don't think Sen. Lugar would have been any better. Until or unless Republicans begin acting like conservatives, we will remain in the political desert (as we were for 40 years when RINOs like these two men were in leadership).
Just my opinion....

The GOP is really making them mad now. It's great to see Freepers turning on their leaders.

6. How can Trent Lott not be right-wing enough? |
|
Full of hate for gays and minorities? Check.
Completely corrupt and in bed with defense contractors? Check.
From the Mel Martinez flap, it sounded like they were about to bolt to the American Nazi Party, but it seems like even they would be too liberal for Freep if Lott is. Are they going to demand that * be declared King by divine right?

2. trent does not hate enough for them |
|
he does not openly advocate the mass slaughter of gays or the destruction of the constitution. So sad for them, that no republican will stand up proudly (and publicly) for the values of free republic.
