Repub switches parties, gives control of MT State Senate to Dems

Possibly we aren't done with the fallout from the election.

The Montana State Senate was going to be split evenly between Repubs and Dems. That is, until Sam Kitzenberg abandoned the Repubs to become a Democrat, effectively allowing the Democrats to retain the majority.

Kitzenberg often considered a ''maverick'' legislator and often broke ranks to vote with the Democrats on issues like alternate power sources (i.e. wind power, ethanol, etc.).
