1. I wonder if that included some of Tuesday's fatalities that were reported today?
I haven't heard anything about it on the news either, but you're right that the icasualties site has definitely raised its tally since yesterday.

The show that John Roberts @ CNN does every day "This week at war" will (I'm sure) cover the losses when it comes on later.

How sad..

5. And John McCain wants to send 50,000 more!
When ten a day start dying, will selfish know it all people like him, admit that they've been wrong? McCain is playing politics with these kids lives, just like Bush has been. The people like McCain are playing games in Iraq and betting these kids lives. Can McCain swear beyond a doubt, that 50,000 more ruined lives will end the killing?

3. Latest number I found is 2858. Five were killed on Tuesday.
U.S. Military Deaths in Iraq Hit 2,858

By The Associated Press

Nov 15, 2006 (AP)— As of Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2006, at least 2,858 members of the U.S. military have died since the beginning of the Iraq war in March 2003, according to an Associated Press count. The figure includes seven military civilians. At least 2,289 died as a result of hostile action, according to the military's numbers.

The AP count is five more than the Defense Department's tally, last updated Wednesday at 10 a.m. EST. ...

The latest deaths reported by the military:

Three Marines and one soldier killed Tuesday in Anbar province.

Two soldiers were killed Tuesday when their vehicle was struck by an explosive in northwest Baghdad.

4. Death Toll will most likely reach aroiund 5,000 before
the Troops are re-deployed.
