We need to flood CNN with demands that Carville be dropped
as a "Democratic" spokesperson. I'm emailing them right now.

4. Like I said the other day -
You can only have sex with a republican so many times before it rots your brain.

9. I heard the whole thing
I think it fits into a larger picture. It sounded like a deliberate attempt to so
piss off the netroots as to start a major war between netroots and dem DLC types. He has to be doing
this for a political goal. I suspect Hillary probably couldn't get through the primary no
matter how bad the establishment press wants to set her up. I think we really need to organize before going after CNN, after all they love this controversy and look how long they put up with
Bob Novak. I have been a media activist but honestly, I do my best work on the phone.
If anybody wants to seriously talk about some overall media activism in this new political climate
PM me your phone # and I'll call you. Jill

16. Over the weekend commentators were
reporting how they read bloggers and Dem. Websites. They
picked up that Hilary is not that popular on Dem. Sites and
the commentators(pundits) believe the Netroots have influence
or at least vocal enough to be heard. There maybe something
to your analysis. Even Fox News's S. Easton made a very cogent
argument along these lines.

3. I had the very same thought as you
We do not need him out disparaging the party.

Dean, Rohm Emmanuel and Shumer all did well.
Each had their own objectives.

If Dean is not given the opportunity to build
our party nationwide, we will go back to our
old losing ways. The candidates need a state
party organization behind them. If our
party is to ever be respected, it has to have
presence in each state. Had Dean not alredy
has state organizations we would not have
done as well as we did.

Carville often just badmouths Democrats giving
the impression of lack of unity. Someone needs
to speak to him or Cnn should look for better
representatives of the Democratic Party.

5. Absolutely. Everything he says is either lies or Repukelican spin.
I don't want to ever see his ugly mug on t.v. again, at least not as a pretend Democratic pundit.

Notice a trend?

Carville..balanced by Bay Buchanan & "questioned" by Wolfie??

Color me "not surprised"..

They aren't even pretending anymore :(

11. But Carville is by far the worst. Donna and Bob are kind of milk toast types.
Carville is actively undermining Democrats and the Democratic Party.

6. I think that's RIGHT! That's one of the ways WE got Dean elected
to the Chairmanship to begin with! We need to turn out theSCREAMS against Carville NOW!

Here's the contact link to Wolfe Blitzer, but he's the one who has Carville on the most, and the CNN site will only let you contactin reference to specific shows or reporters.

http://www.cnn.com/feedback/forms/form4.html?2

I for one am NOT going to let some idiot like Carville try to take away the one most important changer the Dems have seen for years!

7. Whatever...All you'd be doing is telling them they are accomplishing their mission
You are watching their channel and talking about it. You are telling others about the program. You are making them money.

In addition, they politically oppose you, so pissing you off while spreading disinformation about your cause is their goal. Writing them with empty threats and demands weakens you and strengthens them. I know it would THRILL and energize me if I started getting demands from wingnuts to stop bashing the President so effectively.

Worry not about Carville. His is a DLC DINO who is just pissed his team within the party didn't win last week, and pissed that the party is having success moving away from Corporate Sponsored Repuke Light bullshit.

Wanna do something decent in response? Ask the DNC to issue a statement saying that Mr. Carville does not speak for any Democrat but himself, and that Mr. Dean is our current chairman.

We have to get ready for the shit storm that comes with being a Dem majority with a Repuke media.

Don't play into it.

Fuck CNN. Don't watch it. You get much better news from DU anyway. And you are feeding the beast.

Ever hear of the fable about the monsters that only die if you ignore them? This is one of those monsters.

12. Matbe. But here's a copy of myemail to them. And I will switch!
Do ou havea contract wiwth Carville? If you do, buy him out, but get him off the darn TV! I believe in free speech, but WE THE PEOPLE fought like hell to get Dean elected chair of the DNC, and we're not about to let some big mouth has been like Carville agrue to replace him! If it wreen't for Dean's 50 State strategy, we wouldn't even have had any candidates running in many of the places where we WON!

I don't wnat you to censor his speech! I want him GONE!

Right now, as soon as I see his face, I hit the mute button. If he sticks around, I'll choose MSNBC instead of CNN!

If they get thousands of emails threatening to stop watching unless they drop Carville, they will pay attention.

10. ?
Do you really think that'll make a difference?
The way I understand it is that any attention at all is good attention.

Whether you agree with them or disagree makes no difference but it does mean that you are watching.
That's why they start fights and come up with controversial guests-it arouses the watchers and keeps that audience.

A mass mailing to their sponsors probably would help, however, if only a little.

You think he's a Republican? Just because you disagree with him does not make him a right-winger.
