So much for Lou's "Populist" thingy here on DU! Anyone have doubts about Lou when he "shakes Bolton's hand" after "Kissy..Kissy..Suck Up?"

"What a great job you are doing John," Dobbs says. OMG! Even I didn't think that Dobbs would go in the DITCH with Bolton!

I don't know what the hell Dobbs was thinking...to trash his viewing audience with bringing on Bolton and giving him his full support.

Just so you know...there are many things I agree with Dobbs on but have always been suspicious of him knowing he's a "Libertarian type" and tonight's Bolton slavering makes me wonder if he isn't some kind of "plant" that he sucks us "Populists" (and I am one) in and then throws us out to the Bolton types.

Did Dobbs fans see this disgusting thing with Bolton? ?????

Secretary General Kofi Annan said in a September 15 interview that he thought the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq was illegal, CNN's Lou Dobbs was outraged, calling it "another incredible outburst by Kofi Annan" ( 9/16/04). But Dobbs and his CNN reporters neglected to pursue the most important aspect of the story: Was Annan right?

In a BBC interview, Annan said the war was "not in conformity with the Security Council, with the U.N. charter." When asked, "It was illegal?," Annan replied: "Yes, if you wish," adding: "I have indicated it is not in conformity with the U.N. Charter; from our point of view and from the Charter point of view, it was illegal."

This did not sit well with Dobbs, whose September 16 report began: "Outrage and anger today after an astonishing statement about Iraq by U.N. Secretary General Kofi Annan. Annan said the United States-led invasion of Iraq was illegal."

Dobbs reported that "U.S. allies Britain and Australia immediately rejected Annan's assertion. President Bush said he has no regrets about ordering the invasion." CNN correspondent Kitty Pilgrim's segment quoted the U.S ambassador to the United Nations, the Australian Prime Minister, a representative from the conservative Hoover Institute, and Edward Walker from the Middle East Institute, who said, "I don't understand quite what he means by legal."

6. Why would Lou "the Populist" hate the UN? He has done lots of shows

focusing on "Middle Class America" ...yet, tonight, he kisses Bolton's butt and lauds how great he is?

Does Lou not understand that Bolton is NOT and NEVER WILL BE...a Man of the People? Lou is hiding himself under a cloak of Populism that is a disguise and while he get's ratings and kudo's for "Election Reform" and a few issues...it seems he's a man either "not comfortable in his own skin" or a "lying deceiver deceptor"...like a magician who cloaks himself in the magic of the moment to get ratings and create a following much like the fake Evangelical Preachers do...the ones who go out and solicit prostitutes on the side or drug themselves up so they can go out and lie to their faithful every Sunday!

How do these Hypocrits LIVE WITH THEMSELVES??? HOW? :shrug: It would be beyond anything I or most folks here on DU could live with, methinks.
