This should only be used if someone's acting like a freak and not even listening to arguments about the problems they've had due to software defects, much less the fact that they're unaccountable. (For the record, even though I'm not convinced of any hard evidence of outright fraud using these, the fact that you can't readily detect any software defects is reason enough for me to oppose them; I am a software engineer by trade.)

Just tell them that we stole the last election with them! :)

2. Basically any denial of or tampering with or poor safeguarding of civil liberties...
...can be turned around. If there were a bunch of radical right-wingers that were paranoid of the federal government under Bill Clinton, I wonder how much they're gonna freak out if Hillary or another one of our candidates has all this power that they've assigned to Bush*.

3. You Know, That Idea Has Some Merit
However, it's false... so the ultimate result will not be as intended. At least that's how my truth/ethics thinking goes.

4. But I thought we DID steal the election with hacked black boxes.
I thought it was well established that we Dems used our operatives to hack into the voting machines and give us unwarranted victories. I thought we were proud of turning their own weapons on them. I thought we were gleefully anticipating using electronic voting machines to 'fix' the vote for years and years to come. I thought we already agreed that the only way for the Pubbies to ever again win a fair election is for them to demand an immediate end to no-paper-trail electronic voting machines.

We sure hope they never try to do that.

Don't we?

6. Not to mention that this election was just
a practice run for electing Hillary in '08!
