26. Ted Koppel supported George Herbert Hoover Bush for president in 1988
He may pick on the chimpenfuhrrer on the Daily Show but Koppel apears one of the economic royalists in the Republiklan party.

4. Yup. He certainly did.
After listing the reasons why Iranians are suspicious of Americans - the components for weapons sold by European countries and the U.S. for Iraq to use against them, for instance.

8. Yup! He set it up by saying something like "... I can believe you haven't..."
"...done anything yet about Bush going to Vietnam..."

I think Jon said they would be doing something about it tomorrow!

23. He definitely hit a couple out of the park tonight
He was channeling us, you know. That was posted right here on DU during the entire runup to the war.

Several times, actually. It was a bit a of a running joke, as I recall. Would that it were really a joke....

10. Iran has more influence in Iraq than we do.
If that wasn't a clear, honest perspective on Iran, there isn't one. A good four minute interview.

31. It was, and O'Neill was crying and whining behind his books.
Too bad the alleged "Liberal Media" did not pick up on it and report it over and over again, like they kept repeating smears for the Not So Swift Veterans For Lies.

14. Bush is a chickenhawk AND a chickenshit
the more things change...
Bush has all the self-examination abilities of Charlie Manson.

The nerve of that silver spoon fratboy bully to go to the place of enormous American sacrifice while HE couldn't bother to stay to the end of his cushy, safe gig in the Texas ANG.
That punk is *still* AWOL in my view.

builds up steam and comes back with his evidence and smacks the lame duck Bush right square between the eyes with the truth on national TV.

28. And they all say the news anchors aren't restricted in what they say!
Hmmm. Ted and Dan ahve been a whole lot more honest since they are both out from under the Corporate thumb, aren't they?

Both have very quick minds and can be extremely funny and accurate at the same time!
