How much time do you spend on DU per day on avg?

Me, I spend a lot of hours here reading and posting while doing other things (watching my 5 year old, helping out the wife, etc.) They will both be heading out tomorrow for a few weeks of R&R with her folks and friends out in CA - So I will probably be on here a lot more.

I donated today here, and figuring out the cost per hour that I use this site made me realize what a great bargain it really is.

Not everyone can afford a donation, don't feel bad - we have all been there so kick back and don't worry. If you can donate please do! We finally made some headway in this damned government - now lets party down and keep the ship sailing!

1. Depends, roughly 5-6...

During the election, it was all day, every day. Before, if I didn't work, I'd have a DU page open constantly. That's what it's like now, too. I actively look for new posts all the time, so that's about 5-6 hours during peak hours. When it's the wee hours of the morning, though, not much is added so I spend less. Every hour is joyous, though!

I've been here four years.

I've seen some people who have been here two years rack up more posts than I have. Some people spend WAAAAAY too much time on the internet.

In the lounge, it seems like no matter what time I log in, whether it's 9AM or 11PM, there are some posters who are here 24/7. There's a great big world out there--can't understand why anyone would sit on the net for 16-20 hours a day.

The best thing I've done in a long time was reducing my internet time down to less than an hour a day.

Then, days can go by without time for a visit.

I live on the 'puter and often pop over several times during the day for a few minutes but sometimes things are so busy I don't visit at all for several days in a row.

7. I'm actively reading about 2 hours a day, sometimes a bit more.

But I'm usually logged in from the time I get up and into the office until I shut down in the evening, so there's probably a DU window open for 4 hours, maybe even 6.
