I don't watch Fox news and I'm about 99% sure that I heard this on either CNN or MSNBC (most likely CNN).

So I guess that this means that CNN also gets the same memos and that some of the people there repeat the things on the memos.

Does anyone else remember hearing this on CNN or MSNBC?

1. Front Page NYT 11/15/06 article
Edited on Thu Nov-16-06 01:08 AM by wiley
suggests something to that effect. They said the dismissal of Rumsfeld and the Dem win.

2. The terrorists won the day America terrorized the people of Iraq
"shock and awe" bombing the fuck out of them (a nation that hadn't been doing one damn thing to anyone, least of all to us) and illegally invaded their country.

That's the day the terrorists won; when AMERICA BECAME TERRORISTS.

6. Well, let's look at the definition of Terrorist, shall we
a terrorist uses terrorism for political gain and terrorism is: the systematic use of terror especially as a means of coercion -- so allowing our rights to be perverted out of fear of the terrorists seems to play right into their hands and thus, makes the terrorists the winners (we gave them what they want).

Allowing our standing in the world to sink to such lows as we illegally and immorally invaded a sovereign nation that did not threaten us and was not a threat to our nation; the use of torture in defiance of The Geneva Conventions and our own laws; the abandonment of basic due process rights that are the cornerstone of our justice system; ignoring the rule of law that sets our nation apart from all others; ignoring the constitional rights of our citizens as guaranteed by the bill of rights; all in the name of "fighting terrorism" seems to me to be allowing the terrorists to win, as they successfully used the terror to coerce and frighten our leaders to the point that human rights no longer matter, thus they gain politically as we lowered ourselves to their level.

For far too long we have allowed the "media" to define terms for us -- liberals, family values, terrorism. It's time to provide them with the proper definitions and call them on their lies and distortions.

4. All corporate media is corrupt, whatever the story.
Research for yourself while you still can. They're in the process of selling off broadband access to cyber space. That's not as much you as it is the site you want to access. They have to pay for your quick screen load. Probably not going to be a problem for porn.

5. CNN was spouting the same garbage and if I remember
correctly, they 'reported' it as originating from Cheney.

8. Yeah it probably happened after Fox started the trend on Nov. 9th
Coincidentally, hours after the look for it memo. And when one news station announces such a "profound" scoop, all others must follow.

11. CNN often serves as a echo chamber for the right wing
nut jobs on the AM dial. This is a perfect example.
