In petulant publicity stunt, Mitt Romney DEMANDS vote on gay marriage ban
Go to South Carolina and tell some more jokes about New Englanders, you vacuous POS.

=====

BOSTON --In a move to publicly pressure lawmakers who have so far ignored him, Gov. Mitt Romney plans to appear at a Statehouse rally on Sunday to demand the Legislature vote on a proposed ballot question that would end gay marriage in Massachusetts.

Lawmakers last week again refused to take up the question at a joint session, voting instead to recess until Jan. 2, which all but killed the measure because a vote then is unlikely.

Romney's spokesman, Eric Fehrnstrom, said the fight won't be over until the people vote.

"Legislators made a serious miscalculation," he said. "Their action strikes at the very heart of democracy. No matter how you may feel about the marriage issue, people have a right to participate in their own government."

3. Hmmm...makes you wonder,
will it be Romney or his chief of staff who will be revealed as a meth-taking, boy-touching, self-hating closeted gay hypocrite?

"Their action strikes at the very heart of democracy. No matter how you may feel about the marriage issue, people have a right to participate in their own government."

HEY MITT, are you talking about the fact that if your legislation passes, you will disenfranchise gays from being able to participate in their own government and participate in society with equal rights? Sure sounds like it. Thanks for making our point for us.

Petulant is right. What an asshole. What he is saying is: "HEY, put my right wing hate bait back on the hook. This carpet bagging asshole is gonna run for President, but I can't run from Taxachusetts unless I get some wingnut bona fides under my belt."

5. If he shows up in Mass, no one will recognize him...
He's been out of state running for Pres most of the time, he was was absent from his lt. gov.'s failed run for office, and even stopped going to fallen service member's funerals after promising to attend them all. He's in a fantasy world anyways if thinks the southern fundis running his party would nominate a Mormon.

7. "people have a right to participate in their own government."
but they do NOT have a right to vote away the civil rights of others.

How dare this asshole talk about 'rights' when trying to limit the rights of his state's citizens.
