Al Qaeda and the Taliban have sent congratulations to the American people for the wise choices made in the recent election. I'm curious to see what wise tactics the new Congress will employ to give aid and comfort to the enemy.

I have to question your perverse choice in publishing letters such as those written by Messieurs Brainerd and Beard recently accusing those who voted for the Democrats of no less than Treason. Do you feel this sort of rhetoric serves any useful purpose whatsoever? Hateful cant of this type which you know full well is completely without merit has no place in the pages of your paper or for that matter any other publication in this Country. You should be ashamed of yourselves and seriously reconsider your shoddy publication standards.

Your once proud newspaper continues to degrade ever further toward pulpdom and irrelevance. Soon only persons such as the authors of those hateful letters will even bother to purchase it.
