7. He's their 2008 nominee. Take it to the bank.
He's making all the right moves. He'll be 72 in '08; 76 in '12. If he can hack it at that age, then age shouldn't be a factor. But I have my doubts.

13. Yes and no. For some people it would be and it's certainly a fair issue to raise
But 70 is no magic number. We've elected mentally addled goofballs as president who were in their mid 50s (give me a second and I can come up with an example), whereas many countries have had leaders in their 70s and 80s who continued to perform well in office. Think about the way Bob Hope was still truckin' along at 80. By 90 he was showing some wear and tear, but at 80 he was still in great form. François Mitterrand was 74, almost 75 when he became president. Four years later he was still sailing smooth and keeping his mistress busy.

I'm not saying it's likely, but it's not impossible for a septugenarian to be president. Just not that one.

15. Actually, I agree that it's definitely possible...
I just don't like McCain at 70 ..... I sincerely doubt I'll like him much better at 72 (as a choice for president)! lol

Peace,

10. Sorry, but ....

And I'm a huge fan of Howard Dean's and don't particularly like McCain at all.

All people can look odd if the camera catches them at a particular moment.
