How hard is this?
Someone, someone close to bush has to take him by the hand, sit him down and tell him, "You lost the war in Iraq. In fact, you lost the war as soon as you decided to go in with out a plan and quite frankly with any working knowledge of who the Iraqi people were. So, to stop the loss of life and limb you've got to start bringing everyone home. And as a great patriot once said, “How do you ask a man to be the last man to die in Vietnam -– How do you ask a man to be the last man to die for a mistake?” And now I say to you George, How do you ask a man to be the last man to die for a mistake for your choice to go to war in Iraq."

You lost the war, whether you leave today or ten years from now, you lost.

2. He won. The objective was to build permanent bases.
As long as those bases stand, he wins and the world loses.

Death is nothing to these parasites.

3. I'd say to that
When you, bush, can walk the street of Baghdad without the fear of losing your life, then you would have won, but hell george you can't even walk the streets of America because you fear us so.

4. It is so frustrating and so sad. I was listening to Randi Rhodes
on the way to work and she was talking to a guy named McGovern who used to work at the CIA. Randi
asked him what "winning this war" meant and he said, "Permanent bases in Iraq, Rights to Iraqi Oil, and a safer Israel...none of these things are going to happen."

This war has been a fucking scam from the beginning and I cannot believe that anyone fell for it. Oh no -- it's never been about the oil!

These are sad, sad times...and now I hear that Shrubby the dipshit is going to send another 20,000 troops to Iraq? Is he just going to keep playing "general" until there are no troops left??

Impeachment would be too good for this bastard.

Bush is the lowest form of a human being! He lied us into a phoney war, do you feel any safer knowing Saddam will hang while 4 more troops were killed today!

6. Apparently, that's already been attempted... by the fixer
and, according to some stories, it failed to make the right impression.

All W was looking for was a rubber stamp to stay the course, and when he didn't get that, he started trying to influence the bi-partisan committee report with his own "findings".
