4. You are right and the "candy asses" are wrong. We've got to
quit listening to them. Bill Clinton in a recent European speech said that we should stay in Iraq as long as necessary to get to the point where the Iraqis can take care of the situations themselves. He's saying the same thing as Bush.

6. Absolutely not
I don't like any of these assholes, but sacrificing incumbents is the last thing we should be doing. You want to hand them 70 seats in the Senate? That's the way to do it. We have an outside shot at taking back the Senate this year. We are understandably pissed off at these turncoats, but let's be clear: we still need them on our side.

8. Stop shouting, take a stress pill and mellow out.
Support all the primary opponents you want. Some of us will support incumbents. I happen to agree with Dave - a (D) after an incumbent's name is worth a hell of a lot more than dogma at this point.

Head count means all.

9. Hand Them Their Seats!
If some of these so-called Dems can't find the time to fight, I'd rather have a repub making things worse. Because that's exactly where this country is headed. Right into the crapper. And anybody who doesn't think so is living with blinders on.

Time to face the facts. It's over, but I'll be damned if I'm going to vote for any loser Dems who are not able to fight this repub insurgency.

14. What's the point of taking back the Senate if these kinds of Dems
vote for Bush nominees to the federal courts? The courts are far more important than a couple of Senate seats.

So many here think in the wrong terms about these things- the court appointments impact the next couple of generations, and yet you and many others here seem to act like you'd trade the courts for a Senate session (ie, 2 years)? I'd gladly give the republicans Congress for the next 10 years in exchange for 20 years of a good old fashioned Warren Court. Hell, even Burger is starting to look pretty good about now.
