How many of you are holding down TWO jobs?
For those of us lucky enough to be employed, sometimes we need two jobs, a full time and a part time, or two or three part times to make ends meet in these wonderful economic times.

I know many people who have two jobs, and When I was a kid I don't remember a lot of folks with two jobs.

1. We've just moved......
from MN to TX and I'm looking for work. It's only been the last couple of years I haven't worked. My husband doesn't want me to but things would be easier while we're in transition if I go back. My daughter, college grad works two jobs and puts in over 70 hours a week and I know she worries, constantly, about making her bills. I just ache for her....she has no life except work. We're barely making it so my "help" to her is not much help. The economy here seems much better than where we were in northern MN.....we've bet on it big time.

Also, does anyone else notice that pay is generally LESS for similar work than it was in 2000?

3. I would if I could find another job.
I don't mind long hours and could use some extra income, but I can't find another job for anything, unless you count doing odd jobs for people for cash. It's hard enough to just find even one job out there.

4. My full-time job allows for overtime
I try to get between 20-30 hrs. overtime. I've been doing this for years and I am still struggling.

6. I'm not, but I can think of 3 co-workers right now who are.

When I was a kid, I don't remember ANYBODY with two jobs.

7. Could be considered Two
Just one real job, but trying to develop a product and start my own business.

Otherwise, I know I will never own a home, be able to put my kids though college, cover any major medical expense, or retire, with just one job unless I succeed at my own business.
