So what's with Fineman spanking
Pelosi ALREADY?

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/15753367/site/newsweek/

We learn here that folks are laughing at her and that she is basically a spiteful bitch who never forgets or forgives a wrong.

Sheesh! The woman is the FIRST FEMALE SOTH. Can't they let her have a few moments of glory before the arrows start flying?

I think she is a class act and I'm proud of her.

1. who says a group of men can't be just as petty and catty
as women? sounds like insecurities and petty jealousy is getting the better of them. Why are they afraid of with female leader? Didn't they all have mothers to listen to when they were young... were they ever led down the wrong path by them?

2. Well, that's your SCLM for you. I don't
know if they are just being sexist or are just plain dumb. Most of the "journalists" and pundits just love the sound of their own voices no matter what comes out of their mouths. They were on her case even before she was elected. The media have become the "terrorists."

3. It's BECAUSE she's a female...
Sorry to say it, but if she were a MALE, this article would never have been written. It would have been seen for what it was: A POWER STRUGGLE. And, in those, you win some and you lose some. A woman with "power" is something most males in DC and the MSM cannot abide, so they take them down a few pegs, to remind them of their "place".

I also believe that if Pelosi were a MALE, her choice would have been respected, and Murtha would have been successful, not Hoyer. But, the men in the House had to serve her notice that she wasn't the boss of THEM, nosiree.

If you think our country is ready for a female President, or even a Presidential candidate -- even one with the last name of "Clinton", think again, and remember this little "lesson" to Pelosi.

4. Fineman has made a career spinning it for the other side
its what he does, he enjoys it immensely.

This will just be another trumped up story that amounts to squat.

5. She's a woman AND a D.
If she were an R, they'd be hailing how shrewdly she played it, that by supporting a longtime friend who
she knew was going to lose she showed great loyalty and a willingness to expend her political
capital for her beliefs. They would also point out that Pelosi and Hoyer also go way back and have
worked together effectively and that the whole exercise was designed to show Pelosi in a favorable light.
Any negativinty would be brushed off as "just politics."

I'm sure that Jonathan Alter would be recycling the "politics is like making sausage" meme rather than the
"I don't belong to an organized party, I'm a D" were this a Republic fight.

BTW - the public isn't interested. No one is listening.
