Our 2008 Dem nominee: Whoever RESPECTS voters as responsible citizens who need
Edited on Fri Nov-17-06 11:18 AM by blm
factual information to make their decisions AS citizen voters.

Post 9-11, post, Katrina, post Iraq war most of the American people are TIRED of the LIES and the COVERUPS and NO ACCOUNTABILITY in DC. The one unifying issue that showed up in the exit polls was CORRUPTION - people are sick of the lies and coverups of corrupt actions by those in government.

No matter WHO you support as of this time, we should all agree that every Democratic candidate needs to be pressured to pledge that when they take office they will work to open the books on BushInc going all the way back to the Reagan-Bush years and even beyond on some issues, so the American people are given the fuller truths as to why innocent citizens are now constant targets of those terrorists who were an integral part of BushInc's covert actions for decades and WHY their freedoms have been curtailed because of it.

There are some we know will NEVER do that because they are now part of the coverup themselves, but certainly we can demand it of others. This country almost lost its democracy in the last few years. If it hadn't been for NATURE stepping in with Katrina, how likely would it be that the lie that is Bush would be enjoying more power today? We'd be further down the road to fascism - - probably only a few blocks away.

Democrats covering up for Bush1 led us to a GOP takeover of Congress, impeachment, Bush2 administration, 9-11, the dismantling of all good Democratic programs and legislation, and this Iraq war.

This country and its obviously FRAGILE democracy can't AFFORD another coverup Dem administration.

It's up to us to make sure whoever we support will open the books on BushInc - the TRUTH will make this country stronger and safer than it has ever been. And the rest of the world will be grateful for our respect for that truth.

This is the REAL battle within the Democratic party. We are either loyal to those who are stand as obstacles to truth or we are loyal to the truth that will strengthen our nation's democracy. Truth or coverup. There is no middle ground between the two.

2. Voices against investigation now are the same voices against opening the books
on BushInc. in the past and will do so in the future.

6. It SHOULD be imperative after investigation, but the coverup wing of the party
Edited on Fri Nov-17-06 11:52 AM by blm
happens to be a VERY STRONG WING that has more access to corpmedia than the open government Democrats.

The only ones who can do anything about it are the Dem VOTERS who insist on being respected as CITIZENS at this point.

7. They think they're stronger than they are. Don't believe their posturing.
The republican wing of our party lost us THREE major elections in a row, would've lost us this one, too, if Dean hadn't have been in charge, and placed less than ten percent of the people they wanted in this last election. They talk big and have whored a lot of corporate money and power, but they are as much a minority as white people in South Africa.

infrastructure that Dean did - instead they stuck with the Clinton-era post-96 strategy of targetting states and leaving the rest of the infrastructure to collapse all over the country while they keep the money in DC and their network of insiders.

15. Apparently a little success is bringing out the coverup wing of the party in droves
trying to take credit for it while attacking the anti-corruption Democrats they see as obstacles to them taking over the party before 2008.

We can't AFFORD the lies anymore - there is no luxury of time at this point.

19. Thanks - I think it's the most important post 9-11 commentary out there from
someone who sees the ENTIRE picture and how it one that has been drawn over DECADES, not just a few years as the 9-11 commission was forced to limit themselves for examination.
