Dear Democratic Congress, can our taxes be used for HEALTHCARE not WAR |

The Pentagon is asking for yet more BILLIONS for war.
Yes if someone asks for more money for healthcare or homeland security they say no, there isn't enough, then they talk about the deficit. why? (It's not as if the money isn't there?).

In the case of the war machine the benefit goes to the big bomb (and other tools of murder) making businesses - giving the already rich even more is good for the economy they say. In the case of health care the benefit goes to those who can't afford the outrageous cost of health insurance these days - giving poor people a break is bad for the economy they say.
In the case of Homeland Security, if they actually got serious about securing the "homeland" there would be less and less excuse for them to start wars. Simple inverse economics.
