"Radio Free Halliburton" ...
... also known as David Smith Podcasts.

Would you like to hear a call-in show with Halliburton whistleblowers and others, calling in to speak with David?

Some of us have been busy trying to use the transition period to set up the framework to allow David to continue his efforts, come January.

Want to help the message get out there, with or without the mainstream media? Here's how: http://shop.bushbunglesbrigade.org/

Doing it ouside the Party mainstream is the best idea. Too many suits in both parties owing to their contributor base.

It's time for the people to set the agenda. The old days are over.

11/19/06 Democrats probe billions lost to Baghdad's corruption

WHEN an American adventurer and arms dealer was gunned down in his black BMW near the banks of the Tigris river in 2004, his murder was blamed on an obscure group of Islamic terrorists.

As Baghdad’s body count rises, Dale Stoffel, 43, is barely remembered today but his name is certain to be revived as the Democrats prepare for a barrage of congressional investigations into corruption in Iraq.

Stoffel, a former intelligence analyst, had hoped to make a fortune by selling ex-Soviet military parts to refit Saddam Hussein’s abandoned tanks and armoured vehicles for the new Iraqi army. But he was also an idealist who turned whistleblower when he learnt that Iraqis in the defence ministry and arms industry expected huge kickbacks for their help.

In a prophetic e-mail, Stoffel wrote to an American colonel he knew in Iraq: “If we proceed down the road we are currently on, there will be serious legal issues that will land us all in jail. There is no oversight of the money and if/when something goes wrong, regardless of how clean our hands are, heads will roll and it will be the heads of those that are reachable, and the people who are supposed to know better (US — citizens, military etc.)”

45. CHENEY AND NEO-CONS PLOTTING MORE WARS?
CHENEY AND NEO-CONS PLOTTING MORE WARS?

Quoting from the following Truthseeker article:

“In a scene worthy of Shakespeare's Julius Caesar, these modern-day Brutuses have stabbed President Bush and Condi Rice in the back.” (snip)

(snip) “In fact, as the Democrats prepare to take back control of the U.S. House and Senate in January 2007, they face a world map of hot-spots, all set to blow, with the slightest provocation.

Several senior Washington intelligence veterans, and one regional vice president of a major U.S. defense firm, say that their greatest fear--between now and the New Year when the Democrats take the keys to Capitol Hill back--is a ``Gulf of Tonkin'' incident, a provocation covertly arranged originating from Washington, that would provide the pretext for war.” (snip)

Just when we think it is safe……..

Many have expressed the opinion that there are forces well into the process of “taking out” the Bush Bunch with good reason. Seemingly, every time you turn around, more and more embarrassment comes out that makes them look incompetent or worse.

It is becoming increasingly apparent that the Neo-Cons are possibly much higher on the New World Order food chain than first thought. Perpetual war is their mantra, it is evidently their business, and the money trail may end up on their doorstep in the end, via Richard Perle and those like him.

The only problem is that the world does not want an American Rome/Pax Americana ruling the world.

Can we expect a “set up” to start an even greater mess in the Middle East? Probably! The only question is will it go down before or after the Democrats take control of the Senate and House. It probably depends on what the Neo-Cons think they can get by with with the Democrats in charge or if they think they can discredit Democratic leadership by waiting until after they take power. Either way, the world looses.

The next couple months promise to be interesting on the world stage.

--------------------------------------
Cheney and Neo-Cons Plotting More Wars
by Jeffrey Steinberg – Executive Intelligence Review November 17, 2006

On March 11, 2003, as final preparations were under way for the neo-cons' greatest triumph--the invasion of Iraq--New Yorker magazine investigative reporter Seymour Hersh exposed an extortion scheme by neo-con Richard Perle, to extract tens of millions of dollars out of the Saudi royal family, in league with the infamous Iran-Contra arms dealer Adnan Khashoggi. The scheme involved a Perle company, Trireme Partners LP, which wanted a piece of the billions of dollars in homeland security contracts soon to be issued by the Kingdom. The proposal, according to Prince Bandar bin Sultan, then the Saudi Ambassador in Washington, smacked of a quid pro quo: Perle, a leading critic of the Saudi regime, would drop the propaganda barrage and the calls for regime change, coming out of his Defense Policy Board, and the Saudis would cough up.

Bush: I'd understand if Israel chose to attack Iran
By Yossi Verter
Haaretz Correspondent

http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/pages/ShArt.jhtml?itemNo=789940&contrassID=1&subContrassID=1

The United States lacks sufficient intelligence on Iran's nuclear facilities at this time, which prevents it from initiating a military strike against them, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice has told European politicians and diplomats with whom she has recently met.

--snip---

Bush also said that if such an attack were to take place, he would understand it. According to European diplomats who later met with Rice, the secretary of state did not express the same willingness to show understanding for a possible Israeli strike against Iran.

------------------

meshing with the scenario I've been talking about for the past 3 years:
Israel attacks Iran. Iran retailiates. We have to jump in to defend Israel.
Will Syria get involved at this point? You betcha.

http://www.whoseflorida.com/Florida's%20ENRON%20stock.htm
FLORIDA'S ENRON STOCK

CARL HIAASEN- 2/26/02
$335 million worth of bad investments

Believe it or not, Florida's pension fund is still hanging on to about 1.2 million shares of Enron.

State officials told a Senate panel that they're waiting for the value of the trampled stock to rise. A more economical solution is to use it for toilet paper -- you could supply every restroom in the Capitol.

Florida flushed more public money down the commode known as Enron than any other state -- a loss of $335 million on stocks and bonds purchased by the Board of Administration. That's more than twice as much as the $144 million lost by the next biggest dupe, the University of California Regents.

The most remarkable thing about the Florida fiasco, however, was the stupefying timing of several huge Enron purchases -- transactions that have raised suspicions of insider finagling and political favoritism.

Last fall, as many major investors were dumping Enron shares as fast as they could, Florida was gobbling up more and more. On Oct. 22, the Texas energy company reported $1.2 billion in losses and the Securities and Exchange Commission began investigating. Undeterred by the bleak headlines, Florida's pension fund swiftly purchased $7.1 million of Enron stock.

Two days later, after Enron CFO Andrew S. Fastow got canned, the pension fund bought 302,500 more shares and kept buying -- another 816,300 shares over the next six days. The grimmer the news, the more hungrily Florida invested in the doomed company. In early November, when Enron conceded that it had overstated profits by a mere half-billion dollars, the pension fund snapped up another 1.2 million shares.

Only after Enron's proposed merger with another energy company fell apart did Florida finally bail out, unloading 7.6 million shares at a whopping 28 cents each -- a long dismal tumble from the $82 at which some of the shares were bought. The $325 million in losses represents only a tiny fraction of the pension fund's $96 billion holdings, but it's still $325 million that belonged to public employees and their relatives.

Then Worldcom hit the pension plans again...

56. Should I just put on my tinfoil hat and be quiet?
Why did Cheney need to keep those Energy Meetings secret that happened early in 2001?
Executive privilege backed up by Scalia.

Remember the SEC documents on Enron were being stored in the WTC on 9-11?

Ok, I've scared myself...

60. Okay Lets go further...
State Street Bank
is pretty much responsible (or so some say) for the collapse of United Airlines.
http://www.hagens-berman.com/united_airlines_esop_...

Also it rather appears as if United Airlines was suing, in bankruptcy court, to find out the true identity of the entity that really does own the two 911 planes that were blamed on United Airlines.

UA and AA were both gagged from commenting on the events of September 11,
as was the FAA and its subisidiaries such as the NTSB (National Transportation Safety Bureau.) The BTS (Bureau of Transportation Statistics) which keeps records of all takeoffs and landings in civiilain airports, was presssured greatly to add a disclaimer once it became common knowledge that the actual FAA governmental record of the 911 departures did not match that of the Official Storytellers.

There is a federal law called the Jones Act that insists that all domestic aircraft moving between US ports be owned and crewed by US citizens. To get around this, Delaware corporations were allowed to beome US citizens. Then these corporations, such as Wilmington Bank and State Street, then accept foreign owners powers of attorney and the foreign craft is then said to be in compliance with the Jones Act. ALL of the 911 planes were "owned" by Delaware corporations and NOT by the airlines whose colors they carried. And nobody knows (other than the Perps&Co) just WHO exactly owned those planes and just WHO was operating them on September 11, 2001.

Somehow or other, Viktor Bout figures into this equation.
http://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php?title=Victor_...
He is a notorious gunrunner who has lately been banned by the US Treasury but yet and still has been granted very lucrative contracts by the Pentagon via Halliburton.
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6700301/site/newsweek/

Mr Bout's network of companies has, allegedly, worked with a Briton, named in the report as Michael Harridine. He, it is said, was able to "obtain or change aircraft registration to certain 'less scrupulous' countries". Such "flags of convenience" allow paperwork to be circumvented, according to the UN.
At one stage Mr Harridine, along with Mr Bout's partner, a Belgian pilot by the name of Ronald De Smet, allegedly held the authority to conduct business in the UK on behalf of the Liberian aircraft register. Mr Harridine, is said to work through a UK company based in Kent, Aircraft Registration Bureau.
http://www.ruudleeuw.com/vbout2.htm

The Liberian aircraft and maritime registers are neither owned nor operated by Liberia. Liberia, like Puerto Rico, is a colony of the US. Congress owns the people and everything else on those two pieces of real estate. The same rules apply to any place that is considered to be a "Territory" of the US.

I'm getting more scared....
David!
I'm gettin` dizzy...here we are...back tae State Street...and Halliburton

You should design roller coasters. I'd pay to ride one of your designs - and I'm a roller coaster fiend.

Go back to the secret energy meetings sub-topic, and do a Mapquest of 1550 Wilson Blvd in Arlington, Virginia, 22209 (Halliburton/KBR offices) to either: the VP's official residence at the U.S. Naval Observatory, or his offices at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

Pre-9/11 Put Options on Companies Hurt by Attack Indicates Foreknowledge

Financial transactions in the days before the attack suggest that certain individuals used foreknowledge of the attack to reap huge profits. 1 Â The evidence of insider trading includes:

• Huge surges in purchases of put options on stocks of the two airlines used in the attack -- United Airlines and American Airlines
• Surges in purchases of put options on stocks of reinsurance companies expected to pay out billions to cover losses from the attack -- Munich Re and the AXA Group
• Surges in purchases of put options on stocks of financial services companies hurt by the attack -- Merrill Lynch & Co., and Morgan Stanley and Bank of America
• Huge surge in purchases of call options of stock of a weapons manufacturer expected to gain from the attack -- Raytheon
• Huge surges in purchases of 5-Year US Treasury Notes

So where am I?

80. Verry Interesting...Richard Chichakli
Edited on Mon Nov-20-06 04:07 PM by Buttercup McToots
http://yorkshire-ranter.blogspot.com/2004/05/more-bout-or-could-this-be-reason.html

Chichakli moved to Texas in 1986 and married; at some point obtaining U.S. citizenship. According his military service record and résumé, both of which were obtained by ICIJ, Chichakli served in the U.S. Army from 1990 to 1993, specializing in fields such as aviation, first aid, interrogation and intelligence. He also earned FAA certification as an air traffic controller with military control-tower rating. He took courses at the Defense Language Institute and the Army's academy for non-commissioned officers, in addition to receiving training in conventional and unconventional warfare. He left the military as a decorated veteran. Chichakli claimed in an interview with ICIJ that his service to the United States was not limited to his three-year tour in the military. He said he spent some 18 years working in intelligence.

After his honorable discharge from the Army, Chichakli returned to the Gulf States, specifically the United Arab Emirates, and became the commercial manager of the free zone in Sharjah. From 1993 to 1996, he was responsible for much of the liaison and commercial activity at the airport where, according to the United Nations, most of Victor Bout's companies had their operations base.

Chichakli has held several senior positions in companies owned by Bout, U.N. documents say, including chief financial manager with responsibilities such as accounting, financial and reporting activities, and overall responsibility for the financial systems. Chichakli downplayed his role. "I did provide some accounting advice here and there," he said. "Making companies public, prepare business plan etc. … I helped him advance his cargo business." He also denied any involvement in the arms trade. But he did say that Bout had taken part in at least one operation with a military purpose. After the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks in New York and Washington, Chichakli told ICIJ, Bout organized three flights ferrying U.S. personnel to Afghanistan, but he refused to elaborate."

I googled CENTRAL AFRICA DEVELOPMENT FUND and got this

Not sure if it is related though.Look who is on the Board of directors though.

Another thing I noticed while hitting links and reading articles about theADB is how many IMF/WTO people that seem to have some sort of interest in the bank.

I have to admit thought that I am probably barking up the wrong tree with this one.

I have a friend who tells me(tin foil hat time?)that V.K.Durham owns a gold bond supposedly worth a brazillian bucks.Whether it is valid or not is debatable in my opinion. The interesting thing about it is that supposedly bushco is involved in some sort ofscheme that used the bond as collateral in a gold scandal that occurred in the Phillipines.Evidence of that was destroyed on september 11.

Man,my tinfoil hat is starting to get a little bit warm!
