Why not pull the troops out right now? |
|
Personally, I doubt it will be any better on the ground in Iraq a year or year and a half from now. There will just be more dead people. I say we leave tomorrow.

Their precious oil fields.
They don't care how many people die in the process.

But I think the House and Senate Dems should very vocally demand redeployment NOW, and do whatever it takes to bring that about. No more pussy footing around.

I'll tell you why not.
Because. That's why. That's the only reason anyone can come up with. Because. So there.
The sooner the better. Bring our troops home.

twenty some vehicles (wearing police uniforms) with 150 people from an education unit of the government and shoot them. And they will plant bombs on the roads, kill innocent people, kidnap and demand ransoms to buy more weapons, torture and maim children, steal more US taxpayer money, assassinate government leaders, destroy reconstruction efforts paid for by more US taxpayer money, provide a safehaven for the terrorists who weren't there when we went into the country, threaten Syria, Iran and Pakistan into movement toward (not away from) nuclear weapons. Jounalists and contractors will be slaughtered.
Horrors!!

8. People aren't envisioning it as it is or would happen. |

Right now, our troops and corporate presence are like a thorn in a wound. It cannot heal while the thorn remains. Ours is not the only military that can do the job. We are responsible for the mess, but we don't have to be there to take care of it.

I haven't always believed this. I was totally against the war, but bought into Colin Powell's Pottery Barn theory. NO MORE. The longer we stay the bigger a quagmire/civil war the country becomes enmeshed in. We have to get out. Democrats should put the squeeze to *.
NO MORE INNOCENT DEAD PEOPLE IN OUR NAME.
